Kingdom Vision

Life can definitely be a struggle.
Days are sometimes sunny and the combination of perpetual blue sky along with the warmth of the sun makes you smile and fills you with hope for other things.
Rainy days filled with wet drizzle and grey, low hanging clouds really do psychologically "dampen" your spirits.
But what about those days when the blue sky stretches from East to West like arms open wide and the sun has cast its shadowy presence all day along side of you yet,
you feel that dripping, gloominess inside because of something that just didn't happen or go your way? Circumstances they call it. Bad judgment is another.
How about, just life.
We made a oops in our paperwork for our adoption.
Got our papers crossed but forgot to "dot the i's, cross some t's and just plan got mixed up. The result...a delay. Another delay in the timing causing me to feel downright anxious about things with the adoption.
That was this morning.
I have thought about the "mistake" off and on as I went about my day.
I felt the warmth of the sun.
I walked under the pale blue sky.
And, I felt cold inside just thinking about the lapse in time because of our oversight.
One thing I didn't do was pray, at least not immediately.
Sure, I reminded myself that God was, is in control.
I prayed for that paperwork to come back swiftly, SOON!
When I arrived home and checked the email, I see a message from some people helping us. The news is good. The news is definitely encouraging. Timely.
There is an orphanage found that can work with us to get some further paperwork that we really needed and had been praying about.
The name of the orphanage: Kingdom Vision
Not only do I need this paperwork, I need to have some of this "kingdom vision".
"I lift my eyes to the hills--
where does my help come from?
My help come from the LORD,
the maker of heaven and earth."

One would not think that they could lose sight of such a beautiful day just by the very evidence of nature encompassing you but it happens.
It happens when I place my eyes solely on my problems, my mistakes, my hurts and oh, my, my, I lose sight.
And that is why I need some kingdom vision.
Back on track now.
The sunshine and the blue sky is still there only now I feel that warmth inside as well as outside.

God can surpirse us when we least expect it.
Remember: F-A-I-T-H!
Knowing, believing and declaring that He is in control!
