Room with a View

I am sitting at our computer desk and looking out the patio window marveling in the winter landscape.
The curtains are only open a portion of the way, framing the floor to ceiling window giving it the appearance of a large framed picture hanging on my wall.
It does look something like a Kinkaid picture.
The sky is beginning to brighten and I can see the the roads are much better for travel as traffic moves more freely up and down main roads.
The rooftops look like they have been dusted with icing sugar and the evergreen trees dark and full stand out in stark comparison to the other leafless, naked trees that were beginning to receive their tender green buds.
The promise of Spring.
The last (?) hurrah of Winter.
It was not so long ago that I looked out my patio window onto a green golf course and noted, "another, beautiful sunny day" in Florida.
So, depending on where you stand you will get a different perspective.
Isn't that the way life is?
